Alan R. McKean is the founder of McKean & McKean and has been actively practicing law since 1985, concentrating on Business Planning and Organizations; Estate Planning; Banking; Personal Injury; Real Estate; Family Law; and, Litigation related matters.

Mr. McKean is one of a select number of attorneys in Northwest Ohio who has been certified as co-counsel on numerous class action litigations, including a multi-state litigation.

Mr. McKean holds a law degree from the University of Toledo College of Law, Toledo, Ohio and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Ottawa County, Ohio Bar Association.

Pamela A. McKean is a principal and partner of McKean and McKean and has been actively practicing law since 1985, concentrating on Estate Planning; Living Trusts; Family Wealth Transfer Planning; Charitable Planning and Giving; Business Estate Planning and Succession; Estate and Trust Administration; Estate and Gift Tax; and, Real Estate.

Mrs. McKean devotes nearly one hundred percent of her professional practice to all aspects of Estate Planning and Administration.

Mrs. McKean holds a law degree from the University of Toledo College of Law, Toledo, Ohio and a Bachelor of Science degree from Bowling Green State University, Bowling, Green, Ohio. She is a past president of the Ottawa County, Ohio Bar Association and has previously served as an Adjunct Professor, Business Law, for the University of Findlay.

Martin D. Carrigan has over 22 years of legal experience and concentrates his practice in the areas of General Litigation, Appellate practice, Business Planning and Banking, Estate Planning, utilizing both Trust and Will based Estate Plans; Family Wealth Transfer Planning; Charitable Planning and Giving; Medicare Planning; Real Estate; Employment law and General Corporate work. Mr. Carrigan is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, has an MBA from the University of Findlay and his law degree from the University of Toledo. He is a member of the Ohio Bar Association, the Society for Human Resource Management and the American Management Association.

Mr. Carrigan has been certified as class action counsel in numerous cases, including multi-state litigation, where he acts as lead counsel.  He was a partner in the former national law firm of Fuller & Henry.  He also is a tenured Professor of Law and Business at the University of Findlay, and he is an adjunct Associate Professor of Management at the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame.  He teaches MBA students, Master of Accountancy students and Law students Legal Issues in Start-up Businesses at Notre Dame.  Mr. Carrigan has developed a number of legal and business projects for the Ohio Department of Development, New York Institute of Technology, Cardean University, and he has published 8 journal articles on his legal and business research
